Have you ever felt overwhelmed when it comes to practicing your own energy work, because there are so many different modalities, and how do you even get started….”am I doing it right?” ← is one of the questions I get asked most often.
And the guides always come through with a colossal wave of energy on this one exclaiming “You can’t do it wrong!”
So as we practice this energy healing activity below together, keep in mind a curiosity for what this experience will show you, instead of “is this all?”…or “am I doing it right” again.
Taking a gentle breath in, feel into a still moment for yourself, even as you read this, and say hello to your inner light (free audio on my site if your inner light is new to you).
From there, feel into your left foot, or if you don’t have one, choose another part of your body and say “I set the intention for positive energy to run for me there, for my highest good.”
Notice what you feel and pick up on. Is it a simple gentleness, a softness, does anything tingle or do you have a “random” thought come in that might mean something to you while you’re doing this.
The guides gave us this activity because they want us to normalize that nothing we do is too small when it comes to our own healing and energy practice, or when we’re supporting others for that matter.
And the guides don’t want us to take it so seriously all the time (because life takes care of that, ha!). So if you’re a checklist type, congrats you can cross a self healing exercise off of your list for today, it’s as simple as that. And if you’re just the easy squeezy go with the flow type, pick another body party and do it again because….why not.
Of course I had to look up the symbolism of the left foot (or you can simply intuit what it means for yourself, by connecting with your inner light and asking it) this is what I found and what sat right with me:
“The left foot stores more of the internal or self representation – it contains the vital energy for the moral and spiritual growth and understanding. Another division could be that the right side is how one relates to the world and others and the left is more of relating to self and Spirit.” – Southwest Institute of Healing Arts
